A very close friend of my family just died a couple days ago. He and his wife had been married for 64, almost 65 years, and they said were more in love than they were the day they got married. He was hoping with all his heart to make it to 65 years but fell just a couple months short.
Hopefully in fifty years my husband and I will be able to raise our hands in answer to your question, but we're still starting out. Our parents are all halfway, though. Both couples have been married 25 years.

Don't have a number, or a percentage for you, but there's a couple right across the street from me that has been married 62 years. We've known them forever, They have 4 kids, all grown, and a bundle of grand kids. My wife and I went to their 50th, and 60th wedding anniversary parties.
My wife and I have a ways to go. We've only been married a scant 30 years. with 5 kids of our own, and 3 grand kids. Maybe it's something in the water around here?

My grandparents were until my papa passed a few years ago. I was raised by them as my parents have both been thorugh divorce more than once. They had never fought in front of the kids, disagreements yes, but never fought. Never cussed. Never cheated. Went to church daily. And after their 5 kids took me in as their 6th.
I had the expectations of my marrige lasting forever. We only made it 10 years.
