Is it just me , or has R&S turned into Christian bashing ?

i love that guy: stop playing the victim. hmm are we the ones calling them xtians and their faith xian? oh wait, thats right thats them calling us that. oh well, as Matthew says in mathew 10:22 "All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved."

and to mouse above me, i think thats the first time ive heard about tolerance needing to be directed TOWARDS us

People of all faiths are ridiculed, misinterpreted, attacked, and insulted with alarming regularity here on Y!A R&S, often BY self-proclaimed Christians. Christians often make blanket statements - "if you don't believe then you're going to hell" - that threaten and insult nearly everybody other than fellow Christians.

Don't get me wrong - Christians are targeted by atheists and other religions often as well - but Christianity is a colossal majority. Their rights are in no way being taken away, and they are not being "singled out" for bashing.

Get some perspective. have some respect.

There are many who are lost, lonely and suffering. Many are "cheated" out of life, by the god of this world. Blessings.

I check this section to learn, not to condemn or criticize beliefs not my own.

I find those who use objectionable questions or comments negate the knowledge most of us seek.

Tolerance is needed, not bashing, no matter your belief system.

Sticks and stones will break the bones but words can never hurt you. No one can take away your peace unless you allow it.

It is not just you, that is what it is. We will lose battles but in the end we will triumph in victory. Victory in Jesus!
