i guess you should just leave it.
if its really deep then you might need the skin for stitching.

If at all possible try to pull the torn skin over the wound this will help to protect the delicate skin underneath from further damage and help to prevent infection. Then cover it with a sterile dressing.Do not pull it off.The longer it is there the better chance the cut will have of healing.

Clean up the cut, leave the loose skin on. If you can, try & push the hanging bit of skin back on! Then cover it with a plaster. The bit of skin hopefully will cover will cover the wound & then re-grow.

Id leave it on cover the cut back over with it after cleaning and cover with a bandaid, often will fuse back together, if your'e feeling adventurous you could add a slice of something else, graft on a new piece depending on where the cut is, if on your foot you could add a thumb so you can eat with your feet, later, after the healing process. Have fun but keep it clean !!

seriously? me? peroxide the wound or Neosporin, and lay the skin back over it. it WILL heal faster with less chance of infection.
the stories i could tell! let's just say i once could have used 35 stitches or so and a $600 hospital bill, but i took care of it myself. UGH!

leave it and put the hanging skin over the cut it will help it heal and protect it

Depends on how deep, usually heals quicker if you pull it off. If deep you should apply pressure so it seals better and quicker to stop infection. - Cause usually certain cuts are more prown to infection/Puss

I would leave it then dress it with a sterile dressing and keep it clean.Depending on how deep it is see your doctor as it may need stitching.
