I need an art piece appraised and can't find anyone local. Any websites out there for this?

I googled, asked jeeves and yahooed it and only found one online appraisal site but they charged too much.

    You can get free appraisals at Rago Arts and Auction Center of Lambertville, New Jersey.

    They have walk-in appraisals and by email.

    Whoever appraises it is going to have to be there in person.

    Isn't there any museum locally that you can go to? Otherwise you need to write to the closest one and see if you can have someone recommended.

    Go to Christie's online they have a website you can do it there.
