Why does it seem I Crave salad of any kind, am I missing a vitamin in my system?
I eat salad almost Everyday. I love cucumbers, green, red yellow peppers, red onion, avacado, you name it!! I make it different almost all the time but it's So yummy! Just wondering about the vitamin thing.

if you're eating all the fruits and veggies available to you...
no you're not suffering any deficencies... the crave is a good crave.
make sure you are adding beans and nuts to this sometimes.. that's got an easy high dose of protein... but don't go overboard.. you can get cholesterol issues with too many beans, soy and nuts. :D

maybe you should do some variety.. steam some fruits and veggies too...
no, i can't understand what the vitamin/protein concerns are coming from.. the vegetable, fruit, legume, tuber diet... has no such problem.
it's those who only eat meats and processed foods who are suffering in the vitamin catagory... they're getting too much protein... that's why they say eat a well balanced diet.. you must have your greens, fruits, carbs, with other items at your disposal.
imbalanced diets come with all types of lifestyle choices...
the vegetarian alternative has always been propagandized as a bad health choice.. no it's not.. who was it who kept on your case (maybe not yours in particular?) about EATING THOSE VEGETABLES!

either or... eat them or no beer for you! :D
your diet is ok... you're not suffering a vitamin issue. (unless you have a problem that you inherited from your genetics in the family... where the body can't absorb properly)
OH do remember.. drink that water and fresh juice... also keep in mind that most cravings aren't what you think it's just that you're thirsty most times.

I think it is your body's way of telling you to eat that sort of thing. I get those cravings too! My favorite is raw spinach with avocado, red onion, mint and Mandarin oranges! And a splash of oil and white balsamic vinegar. I love all kinds of salads and I think it's good that you do too. It's really the perfect meal and there are so many ways to make one. It's good to listen to what your body is telling you.
Oh yea, throw a few walnuts in there too!

if you crave for it..and you feel like going mad if you don`t eat a salad right now :).... i think it`s the lack of vitamins...your body tells you what he`s missing... i had a crave like that for fish some time ago... i was eating fish everyday...
take some additional vitamins.... of make some blood analisys to see what`s happening

No you are not missing a vitamin, I am the same way with salads and vegetable, I just love them. Our taste buds just appreciate their flavor, better them than junk right.

Doubt it. It sounds to me that you are eating very well.
I too am super crazy about fresh veggies. Do at least 1 salad style meal a day.

Salad's good for you! It's great that you're craving healthy food instead of junk. It just means that your tastebuds work the way they should. You lucky thing!

its probably just that you like salad, but make sure you get a balanced diet, purely salad isnt good for you, you need some fibre from nuts and cereal and things like that
