How can I check the expiration date of a beauty product?
How do i check out the expiration date of a beauty product? Originally packaging is not available; the bottle does not have the manufacturing date as well. Only the batch number. I want to know if my Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 is still okay for use as well as my Kanebo Sensai Lotion II. Thanks!

You would have to call up the company and speak to someone and give them the batch number so they can figure it out because there's no other way of knowing.

A lot of beauty products have symbol on the back or bottom of the bottle that looks like a half open jar with a number in it. This indicates how many months the product is good for after you open it. I know clinique has these but not sure about the other. If you can't find it, then i would say the clarifying lotion will be good for about a year (or until the alcohol evaporates) and the lotion 1-2 if it is in a pump container. If it is a jar then make sure it does not have any funny smells or discoloration before you use it. If the lotion has antioxidants like vitamin C it is only good for about 6 months.
