Anyone noticed how lopsided the women's draw is at the Open? Trying to give Maria a clearer shot at the title?

Absolutely true ! Just compare Henin's and Sharapova's draw for the past Grand Slams.Someone said Sharapova's got a "frightening" draw in Miami but that is not even a Grand Slam so who cares.Henin's drawn to face Serena for 3 Grand Slams in a row plus the likes of Venus,Ivanovic and Jankovic this time which is way more frightening.

Do you remember the frightening draw Sharapova got in Miami 2007 this year? She had to play Venus in 2nd round then Serena in 3rd round. Now, that's called humiliation.

There is no controversy. It happens,. one player gets a very favorable draw. Maria just happened to be the recipient this time. No matter what happens, she has to beat everyone on her side of the draw, then beat the finalist from the other half. It will not be a cakewalk, when it is all said and done. Can we move on already.??????????

I believe that is true. Her draw is so much easier than anyone elses. By the time she meets caliber players (not that she isn't) she will be to cocky to win.

Glad I am not the only one that noticed that she actually got an easy draw.
