First, stop trying to figure it out, it's probably nothing you did.

You already reported him, good.

Block the user so he can't send more messages and it makes it difficult to answer your questions. (It should make it impossible, but there are still tricks that the trolls have figured out.)

You can't really block his email because they all come in a "you have received a message from another user", so if you mark that as spam you'll lose all of your user messages, and we don't want that.

Try to ignore him. Some people are just plain mean. I sure wouldn't reply to him, let him think you aren't getting his messages. He'll tire and go away.

With the next email go to his profile page, make a note of all the details you can, and then email the team at yahoo and complain, adding the text of the offensive email to them.

You can't use the normal report abuse system with email.

Close your E mail under Edit my Info in Profile. Also close off you Q & A in case he's a stalker. These people are sick. I had a very nasty E-mail from a Vietnam Vet after I disagreed with him in Politics & had several other wacko E-mails from Trolls. I closed mine off 2 days later.

You can report him for Community Guidline violations here on Yahoo Answers, but I have yet to ever get even an acknowledgement that Yahoo ever received any I have reported, let alone took any kind of action. The only thing you can do is change you Yahoo account name, but that is TOTALLY unfair too..............
