Any Wii owners out there?? I am looking for a stand/cooling station for Wii...?

I have found a few out there, ALOT of them are coming from Hong Kong or the UK. I'd like to find one in the US, if that's possible. I would really like to get a stand for it for the risk of it tipping over, or some idiot setting it on its side because they're dumb and making it overheat. Do you really need the cooling fan alot of places are advertising?? Should I just get a standard stand?? Maybe there is a reason no one in the US is selling this cooling station.....I don't know.

Thanks for your help!!!

Update:

That's good, I found some old forums from around the release, saying there was some problems with overheating, especially when using the internet. Something about messing up the video card, and screwing up the picture.

I am not a huge "gamer" so I am sure it wont stay on for 37 hours straight, but my wife isnt very good at turning stuff off either. I might still just get one of the 10 dollar fans, just to be safe...

How about the batteries?? Get the charging station with the batteries?? Or just get regular recharchable batteries??

I notice with every station I have found, you have to have the Wii on to be charging them.....now to me, that sounds dumb. I would want to turn my Wii off when I go to bed, and plug the suckers in to charge, but that's just me....

Update 2:

Thanks!! I don't have a Gamestop or Toys R Us anywhere near me. Closest thing I have is a Wal-Mart, and they dont have any kind of cooling station.

I will consider the options....

I don't know about the cooling stand , mine seems to be fine without it.

But I will say I love my recharging stand. It was a little over 20 and it has already paid for itself in what batteries would have cost. I have not heard anything about having to have the Wii on while it charges, I really don't see why you would need to do that.

The trick however is to not plug them in until they are completly dead. If you put them on the charger everytime you are done playing you cut the life of the battery in half. Make sure they are all the way dead before you plug them in and they will last much longer.

The Wii comes with a stand. It doesn't matter if you stand it on its side or if you have it laying flat.

I wouldn't worry about the Wii overheating because Nintendo products are the most reliable of the 3 companies. Save your money. You don't need a cooler for the Wii.

I have my Wii on standby all the time, and so far, there's been no problem. I've had it since launch.

Perhaps you've never heard of the U.S. most common gaming stores like Toys "R" Us, Gamestop, and EB Games. I can guarantee you that you'll find an affordable cooling stand or fan to cool your hot Wii down. You decided to skip ahead to looking for the cooler in Asia for some reason.

Take my advice: go to your local Gamestop and pick one of these two:

    http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=8... -- console stand cooler

http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=8... -- fan that gets attacked to the back of the wii (where the USB connection is)

Do follow my advise. You're feel better...
