I thin 2 crickets per day it too little for your oscars. Try feeding him 5 crickets and maybe put some shrimps and flakes in it with the crickets. Also, try to add some pellets for the oscar. This also depends on the size of the oscar because the bigger the fish is the more appetite he has,

Depends on the size of the Oscar. Baby Oscars that are 2-3 inches big are most likely not even going to be able to get crickets, unless baby crickets in thier mouth. Mixing the diet up totally is the best situation. Give the shrimp one day, flakes another day, circkets a different day, veggies another day, blood worms another day ect... I think you get the idea. That should keep your Oscar active healthy and happy.

sounds ok to me you might want to get some guppies as feeder fish if you like feeding the oscar live food small goldfish also work (but not too much as the oscar might not eat the flakes after a while)

I used to feed mine 10 feeder goldfish a week. I just tossed them all in at once, it would eat about 1/2 of them the first day then pick of the rest over the remainder of the week.

I feed mine pellet, chopped fish fillet, shrimp, frozen blood worm, and sometimes feeder goldfish and cricket.
Its main food is pellet though, although some oscar wont accept pellet.
