The papers said today that one in four children meet people they speak to on the internet?

I'm one of four children. Should I be worried?

Hmm. Well, a lot of kids meet other kids - not necessarily adults. I know when I was a teen, I met someone online and then in real life but it was no big deal. If the kids are meeting adults - then, yeah, thats something to worry about. On myspace, I met another girl my age who also has kids, so we have hung out in real life a couple of times. Some people are good out there, but yeah, I would think it was strange if kids were meeting adults.

(By the way, I didn't meet them ALONE. I took other people with me when first meeting them)

im 14 and have had online friends since de age of 9 many hu r adults and have been meeting ppl in rl life from net since sept 2005. dey r not all dangerous many of my best friends r de adults i met thru net.i agree sum r dangerous but hardly any of these play MMORPGS like warcraft,runescape,club penguin etc like i do r like dat.infact more nerds play these games than nefink else.

yes it does. but my children aren't allowed to use the computer, and if they do...it is supervised. i am terrified of online pediphiles. they need to die and burn in hell.
