Bushmaster's water tank vs copper shape charged IEDs?
The objective of a copper shaped charged IED is to create molten metal to rapidly go in one direction. Would the 270 L floor mounted water tank on the Bushmaster cool the copper down fast enough, while bending the direction, to render it less damaging than if the copper hit standard armor?

Cumulative effect speeds a piece of molten metal up to 2km/s.
Nothing could cool it down.
But a multi-layered armor can reduce its penetration.

You must be trying to inject a little humor here!!
The Bushmaster 4X4 is an Austrailian armored vehicle now in use in southern Iraq and the 270Liter water tank you reference is a hydration system for the crew, located under the floor of the control compartment!
However it can cushion some of the blast from an IED!
A copper shaped charge IED???? no such thing!
