Under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhiji, known as the father of the nation, a freedom movement was undertaken. The main aspects were----
1) Britishers should give full freedom to India.
2) The division of India & Pakistan was another major issue.
3) Gandhiji was strong in favour of social reforms & did a lot of work on it.
