Wireless network?

Well my question is about setting up my Printer up so i can print from my laptop wirelessly... my laptop is wireless enabled.

and i am connected to internet from my wireless router. my PC dose not have wireless since it a lil bit old. so i am using a Enthenet cable which is connected to my wireless router. so i was wondering if i could hook my laptop up so i could print without any wires. If you haven't setup a local network so the Laptop and the PC can "see" each other you need to do that first. If you are running XP just run the network setup wizard, set the workgroup to the same name etc and get your local network running. It really doesn't matter if your computer is wired or wireless within the network. (The wireless just replaces the wire.)

Then all you have to do is enable "File and Printer Sharing". on the PC that has the printer. Once that is enabled you then go to the Control Panel--->Printers right click on your printer and click on the "sharing" tab. That printer will then be available on the network and thus to your laptop.
