Are we asking questions on Yahoo to increase points?
I found every day so many questions are asked and answered. many times questions have no meaning and so also answers. so i feel some of my frends are asking question, answering questions and selecting questions just to earn points. i feel that questions or answers aare not up to the mark certains points must be curtaild. selection of answer must be finally left to the person who asked the question. Some body selects answer to gains points without looking in to the purpose of asking question, and it remains unsolved. hence i feel if some one select as best answer, final selection must be left to the person asking question. if answers are not satisfactory he himself may be allowed to reply the answer.

People come on Answers to be judged. You ask a question to be judged. You answer a question to be judged as well. You will judge this as i judged whether or not to answer this. That is the way it is. We all want to be judged.

That is India. You read Deccan Chronicle or Hindu letters how the readers are writing letter or how the papers are choosing/selecting letters for publishing. You can read every mind set. Very serious issues like bomb blasts occurred in Hyderabad, in a democracy the people ought to face some inconvenience during the bandhs as Political parties tend to give calls against such barbaric blasts where innocent people killed. We can not find ideal situation overnight we have to build the National as a responsible citizens.
My straight answer to your question is that asking questions in fact decreases the points, if I am correct.

Asking questions decreases points but answering questions is what gets you points - yes I agree many of the answers seem to be just for this purpose. Every good thing in the world also includes some bad things, so accept it and get along.
We can also find many useful stuff here. It more than makes up for this irritant.
