Why are a lot of Muslims called Mohammed but very few Christians called Jesus?
Sorry, but not many Spaniards, Mexicans or other South/Latin Americans in Londons East End, but did not know it was so popular in these locations. Have been to many parts of Spain but have never met a Jesus yet.

Media bias. The comedy channel lacks the moral fiber to have a spine, that's why family guy grew to become into censored. you notice a similar style of media bias, actual cowardliness, interior the scientific care of Democrats and Republicans - look on the smear marketing campaign against the "Tea social gathering". Why grew to become into Palin investigated to such intensity and Obama have been given a bypass from the clicking. Media bias. loss of braveness to present the reality.

Because Mohammad, according to Islam, is a prophet. Jesus, on the other hand is the son of God. A lot of christians name their child after prophets in the bible like John, Isaiah and so on.

The real `Jesus` died at birth and his mother purchased another baby, called John, from her sister afor 13 shekels, and she called it Jesus so that people would think he, the baby was the son of a god.
So John, the pseudo Jesus was credited with being the son of a god, and that was why, when he was nailed to the cross, the god could not save him because the man on the cross was just a normal man. So, in theory, millions of people pray, not to jesus, but to John. He, John, has been re-born 346 times returning to earth to annoy people who would not believe he was the son of a god. In fact, he was almost crucified several times over for blasphemy; why doesn`t someone put him out of his misery and tell him that he was not really the son of a god, but his cousin Jesus was.
If you believe in the story of god and jesus, there is no reason why you should not believe this.
If you don`t believe this? How come you believe the far-fetched stories that John created all those miracles?
As for walking on water, he just walked along the sea-shore in the shallows and people thought he walked on water.
Who was he to tell them the truth and spoil his reputation?
Would you? Of course not! And Lazarus was blind drunk and John revived him. Nothing miraculous about that!

because Jesus is a holy name. and the name is respected. Mohammed is a shameful name who ever has this brings glory to himself. It is not special. thats why most muslims are named mohammed. and we are more intelgent because we can rember our Gods name without nameing the whole country after there false god.

Muslim's are asked to name their children Muhammad because this name is preferred by Allah swt.
Muhammad pbuh is Allah's beloved and is very close to Allah's heart.
Therefore a person who names their child Muhammad makes Allah swt happy and is hence rewarded by the Almighty!
I am sorry I can't shed light on the latter half of your question, but I hope I helped you understand the Muslim point of view.
Thank-you.

Because Mohammad is just an Islamic name, but Jesus is the Name above all Names. Only Jesus himself has the right to have that Name. By the way did you know that the Hebrew name for Jesus is Joshua? Jesus is the Greek word. So I guess people do call their children Joshua including Christians.

There are many Latin-American boys named 'Jesus' but it's pronounced 'Hay-soos'.
