Thomas Jefferson, James Madison & Alexander Hamilton?

I'm reading Founding Brothers by Joseph J. Ellis and I wanted to find out information about the following:

What was the Jefferson-Madison Collaboration?

How was Jefferson and Madison involved in the Alien and Sedition Acts?

What was the relationship between Jefferson and John Adams?

What were some positive or negative highlights in Jefferson and Madison's presidencies?

How was Hamilton involved with foreign affairs with France?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Update:

Yea I know that was Jefferson... I actually read the book but I wanted to know if anybody could provide any additionally information.

I think you mean "not reading" but I'll throw you a couple of bones -- Jefferson and Madison opposed A & S an got them repealed. Jerrson and Adams were political enemies who became friends later in life.

Lousiana Purchase, Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery, War of 1812 maybe you can figure out under which Presidents those happened

Isn't any of this in the book. These were significant events. I would think they would be in the book. Just curious because I have the book but haven't read it.
