The British arent Out, they've turned the Basra Palace over to the Iraqi Government, and Consolideted their Men at the Airfield Base of Operations.

Once the British are gone - then the Iraqi and US forces can do something about the Iranian-backed militias that the British troops ignored.

When Muquda Sadr fled to Basra after his private army got wiped out in the battle of Najif - the British actually let him rebuild that army in their sector!
