What defines a "neocon" these days?

Originally a neocon was a "liberal who has been mugged by reality." In that he/she sees the effect of liberal policies and the consequenses of the counterculture on morality.

    Agreed with above response. There are so few neo-cons, and so many people being accused of being a neo-con, that today, unless you're referring to Bush and Cheney, a neo-con is anyone who disagrees with a liberal gets called a neo-con.

    This is what people do instead of use logic. They smear.
