I stopped receiving e-mails from yahoo Answers when I am selected as the best answer. Why?

Yahoo will send you emails

1. if you ask a question and you put a check in option 'send mails when someone answer'.

2. if your answer was chosen as the best answer.

3. someone send you a message.

4. someone add you in his/her contact.

5. someone in your contact ask or mark star on question.

but in condition, you turn on (put a check) this option in your yahoo answer profile.

a. Email me when I receive a new answer to a question I've asked

b. Email me when one of my Contacts asks a question

c. Email me when someone becomes my Fan.

You probably accidentally clicked one as SPAM rather than deleted it. That is the usual reason for this. Try checking your BULK/SPAM folder or TRASH to find an old one, open it, and mark it as NOT SPAM. Also, check through your BLOCKED ADDRESSES under Options to see if you can find it there. It comes in as "answers-alert@cc.yahoo-inc.co... If you find it on the list, delete it from there. Also, add the address above to your address book for safe-keeping.
