How do I find a professional bill payer?
I have a friend who has ADHD, doesn't handle money well, and is in considerable debt. He has tried Quicken (and other software), autopay programs, Dave Ramsey, etc. but says he wants to completely turn over his finances to someone else to manage paying his bills for him.
He has spoken with a few CPAs who have told him such a service does not exist for people who don't make a lot of money (he's a sales rep, so he does OK in terms of income). Some people just create a basic budget, set up autopay of monthly bills, and pay the rest as they come in, but mentally, this is too overwhelming for him and he really needs help. Does such a service exist? If so, how does he find someone reliable and safe?
Please do not bother to list software to track budgeting (that didn't work for him). He wants a completely hands-off approach. Any ideas?
Thanks so much!

I recommend hiring a bookkeeper to handle this for him. It's MUCH cheaper than a CPA and I know this because I have been working for one for the past year.
I have recently started my own bookkeeping business, so as a bookkeeper myself, I would have no problem doing this for someone.
Infact, I notice another bookkeeper's ad in the paper the other day that offered "Elder Care" - Bookkeeping services for Seniors - Monthly bank rec, bill payment, etc.

Can you do a one time assist to get the utilities and phone etc , onto auto pay ?
I gave them the authority to debit the bill and I only have to read the bill .
They take out the $$$ on the last due date .
If he is in debt , he may need to avoid hiring out a repetitive service .
Get the auto debit for life's necessities ( heat , lights , water , phone etc)
Have the others charged to a card and make a once a month payment on those .
If he has lot of credit debt , he may need something other than a bill payer ( they can't write checks if there is Not enough funds in the account ) .

I am going to suggest a couple different solutions. 1. Try adult and family services to see if they can recommend someone. They provide some financial services for the elderly that includes helping them pay their bills. 2. Look for an independent bookkeeper who is willing to do it at a reasonable hourly rate. You would have to interview several to find one that you feel you can trust. You need to check their references, criminal records and credit report.

of direction no longer! no greater suitable than they must foot the bill for church homes, Synagogues, or Mosques. (to apply an analogy) expert activities is, with the exceptions of the eco-friendly Bay Packers, is private enterprise. To help with tax money something that in the time of basic terms reward its proprietors and workers is incorrect. in case you argue that followers income, could I with politeness remind you for you to PAY for that income, besides.
