Have you ever found or even seen a sparrow feather?

With millions of sparrows, they must lose billions of feathers during moulting season. I'm 60 years old and now in a wheelchair that gives me a new outlook on the world. So, I have finally seen three sparrow feathers and kept two to show people. The first time in my life! The feather is quite different from larger birds' feathers. So, has anyone else ever wondered? This question made me smile! Thank you.

But that does making you wonder... The only time I have seen sparrow feathers are when my two cats caught one and I found the left overs : (

out of ignorance, I once shot one with a paintball gun; hit it square in the body and covered it in paint. it fell off the power line dead...

I feel remorse for the poor victim of my curious evil deed...

I wonder what a proper feather looks like.

Yeah, most people don't look at the ground much. If you do, you'll see there's a lot of stuff down there.
