I'm from the seychelles and just like the other countries around the world you have people that are considered "easy". The person who stated the rape stuff, obviously doesn't know the locals very well or the country. We are proud people and are proud of our country. No prostition is not legal in seychelles, the same as drugs, and any form of pornography, although many companies come to seychelles to film their adult films there. Yes as I was saying its illegal and yes we have people who go against the laws. So do many people all over the world. There aren't that many to be honest. The islands are so small that everyone would know who you are.

Any person may contract with another person in Canada to exchange sexual companionship for money or other things of value. In fact the courts will enforce such a contract (as a couple of American football players found out in Toronto a few years ago when they refused to pay a hired hooker the full amount), Such is considered just a basic business contract. This goes for longer term relationships, not just an hour or one time paid encounter. it is not exacltly legal but in the seychelles everyone is sleeping around with everyone and even when the tourists visit the place then also they are geting drugged and raped or something.. that is the place over there and i believe that the govt is not really doing anything to get rid of it..
