Is my baby hungry or not?
OK, my baby is 10 weeks old. he was on 5oz of sma gold but having them every 2-3 hours, i was advised to put him on the heavier milk (sma white) which i have(again 5oz )but he still wants a bottle every 2-3 hours.
Is he hungry or is he just being greedy?
I have let him crying and tried to occupy him with other things but it just doesnt work.
Any ideas?

Babies are not greedy, their hunger signals work perfectly. Feed him as much as he wants. He could be having a growth spurt, too. It is ok for him to eat a lot, babies are growing so fast. It is perfectly normal for babies to want to eat every 2 or 3 hours, even for some babies months older than yours. So, feed that babe! :)
Addition- That weight is normal. There is a wide range of normal for babies' weights. Don't worry unless he weighs like 25 pounds at that age.

Sounds like he's doing great if he's eating every 2-3 hours and gaining weight.

Is he gaining too much weight?
If not I would assume he is eating what he needs.

just feed your baby until you know he/she doesnt want anymore...even if its being greedy you are giving the child what they want and fullfilling it's needs
