Fort Myers??

I'm planning a vacation in November to Fort Myers florida and I would like to suggestions on where to stay. It would be me and my 13 year old. I want to be on the beach and would like to do some snorkling. I would also like at least a 3 star property not to far out of Fort Myers. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.....

Update:

I'm not to worried about the snorkling part.....if it's possible then great, if not no big deal. I'm really just looking for a great, family orientated hotel. I have never been there and just would like some input.

    I might suggest you go to the Sanibel Island web site...I live in central florida and find this is a perfect spot for all around beach vacations.......good luck

    There is not really any great snorkling there. You have to go farther south
