OK,Why are the gas prices going up again?

In the past, when prices went up,the oil companies blamed it on every disaster they could think of except godzilla was was the cause. Now what's the excuse?I live in the midwest and gas is 3.19 a gallon regular. The government isn't doing anything because they get the taxes from the high prices.I'm sick of being legally robbed.

The price of gas goes up not because of natural disaster, or political changes- no, it goes up out of greed.

If the price of gas was dictated by natural disasters (I find it funny that people think that). Why are we paying out the nose when more then a few execs at major oil companies are pulling million dollar bonus?

Oil companies don't care about you, they only care that their money needs to leave your pocket and get into their's.

Our gasoline prices have fallen to $2.58 per gallon. I do not know why the prices where you live would be going up. Your state might have been one of the states where they eliminated the gas tax temporarily, and have now re-instated the tax. The state where I live never did that. We got to $3.49/gal. As I said, it has gone down, for now.

The Hurricanes will be the next thing they use, since the offshore oil rigs had to be evacuated for several days for the storms to pass. Even though we do not get oil from Mexico, it will be the latest excuse.

I am glad I stuck to my guns, when everyone wanted a larger SUV, I said OH NO, NOT ME! Everyone already forgot the 70's and what happened then. I have had vehicles that get no less than 25 MPG. Right now, both of my cars get 29~30 MPG. I will not back down from that stance, either.

Both my cars are Chrysler products, as well. So please do not jump me for having a Korean, or Chinese car.

In our little town in California, it's gone up 14 cents in the past week from 2.79 to 2.93.
