    Adventure: Taman Negara in Pahang

Shopping: KL Midvalley Megamall, The Curve Damansara, OneUtama, KLCC of course u know that one :). Do not miss Bukit Bintang Plaza..

Beach: Kuantan Teluk Chempedak or Ferringhi Beach Penang. The best is still Langkawi for this type of activity.

    Do have fun!!

Please cancel Pangkor for your snorkelling plans. Off the west coast of the peninsula the closest to clear water you can get is Pulau Payar, about 30 mins boat ride from Langkawi island. You can still see reef fish and some coral there but incomparable to the east coast islands of Pulau Perhentian and Redang. Tioman island coral has been dying for the past 10 years and it is not as good as Perhentians and Redang.

However late November the east coast monsoon has started and you are not encouraged to head for the islands then - very dangerous with choppy waters and strong currents. The best time to go is still late Feb til mid Oct.

If you are in the west coast mostly, after KL just head for a day trip to Melaka. Followed by a detour to Cameron Highlands. 2 nights in Camerons is more than enough. See the Orang Asli villages, go to Boh tea plantations and visit some rose gardens and strawberry farms to pluck fresh strawberries. If you really love nature then head to Perak to the Belum Forest Reserve. You can get lakeside resorts, and these resorts offer packages that take you jungle trekking to spot wild life, take you fishing etc. If you are lucky you may just see the Rafflesia flower - world's largest flower.

if you wanna do snorkling, you have to go to perhentian.. pangkor is nice too.. and you have to go to penang, no chance snorkling here though, but i call it 'the lost paradise', it's the best!!(cuz i live here... hehe)... langkawi is nice too...
