Almost certainly not. You would have to make your playlists again.
This is because the absolute filenames for your music files will have changed. For example, if you have you music in a directory called Music on your internal drive (C:), then the file would be C:\Music\MusicFile.mp3
If you move that file to an external drive then that drive will have a different drive letter, for example D:. If you moved the file to a directory called Music on the external drive, it would then be D:\Music\MusicFile.mp3
The playlist would still be pointing to C:\Music\Musicfile.mp3 which would not be there any more so you would have to update your playlists to reflect the changes.
