Fluid retention, does anyone have a suggestion (home remedy) ?

This is a side effect of a RX I've been off of for 3-4days & the fluid still has my hands & feet so swollen, I can't grip or walk easily on my feet. HELP

My OB/GYN suggested hot water with lemon, sweetner is optional. Make sure you are DRINKING enough water. If the retention continues being a problem, you may want to talk to your doc about a low dose prescription of Furosimide and hydrochlorothiazide(I'm on it for bloat issues myself-stupid genetics!). I know it may not make much sense, but drinking more water, even though you are retaining from the sound of it about 20lbs of bloat, should help you start to shed some of the water weight. I do feel your pain. Really.

    Hope you feel better, soon.

Hi, yes that is so sore- l have same with heart problems-

Drink- loads of water-as much as you can- it clears your kidneys -thus aiding blood flow.

sit with legs higher than heart- whenever you can

lay on sofa to read or watch tv- back of the sofa a good place for your feet

Put 2 fat pillows under your feet in bed

try to only use 1 pillow under your head

get ANTISTAX from chemist- leg vein Health Capsules- Made From Red Leaf Extract- so no drugs in them

l promise these are tried and tested-

    good luck
