I think Portia is a hard worker..meant to be BEHIND THE SCENES..not at the FRONTLINE.

She cannot MANAGE or be LEADER of the country with her attitude, her sensitivity to the press, and her ways of making the crowd wild her her up so much she forgets to FOLLOW THE SCRIPT!

I don't Know if Bruce will be a better leader..bcz i haven't seen him in action..but I do believe he has persuaded many to believe he is the best candidate for the job. He seems intelligent, and looks like he knows what he's doing, he seems trustworthy to perform well under any situations..and represent our people in a wonderful manner..

I'm glad to know the this generation of youths got to see how JLP performs instead of being stuck with PNP PNP PNP Just because they only KNOW PNP. It's good that JLP had a chance to show everyone what they got!

Portia is NOT a reckless driver..just a POOR COMMUNICATOR, HIGHLY SENSITIVE WHEN CRITICIZED so she's constanly DEFENDING herself in the WRONG manner, her hard-headedness, and she just get too CAUGHT up in the CHEERING OF THE CROWD that she turns into a RUDE GIRL by the end of her speech..

All of those qualities are VERY VERY BAD when you are LEADING a country. You are representing the Team..and if you behave out of order..they'll believe your WHOLE TEAM is out of order!

SHe will do GREAT in another job though..just not as the frontman..

  • I am not surprised as Portia had failed to live up to the people's expectations as a Prime Minister..her behaviour for the short time she was Prime Minister was appalling.. the whole "my husband is my credit card "thing...the whole "mi nuh friad of no man..so don't draw mi tongue".. blah blah blah..she real let us down..many had high hopes for our first FEMALE Minister me included..but with the economy only growing 1% and with many persons living "hand to mouth" or worse and with Bruce making such promises..it was bound to happen this way.... the people wanted a change and that's what the JLP was promising with there slogan.."Jamaica needs a change now"..while Portia team was saying.. "NOT CHANGING NO COURSE!" I think the JLP had a wonderful campaign..the advertisements were very good and well stragized..the PNP was left to play catch up and they failed..so they loss so of there top seats..I think Portia proofed her self lacking in some key areas such as the knowledge needed to lead and run a country..she kept having to turn to others for answers that doesn't make me very confident in her abilities.. while Bruce presented himself as a calm and in control LEADER...so he got my vote! I felt confident of his abilities to lead! So I think Bruce was a defensive driver while Portia was a VERY reckless driver

  • It could not have goe any other way. I think that the people have spoken and all who don't appreciate it should get over theirselves.

I do not think the outgoing PM could have led the nation any better than it was already being led and I believe that a new party gives us a streak of hope, even though they may not perform up to as high a standard as they claim they will.

Bruce has a great team with Andrew Holness, Karl Samuda, etc. and I think they will do well.

I think the people need a change been so long. So all we can do is pray Bruce don't do worst then the others.
