How do i lock the keypad on my vzw slvr phone?

Locking and unlocking the wireless device - Motorola SLVR L7c

The Phone Lock feature helps prevent unauthorized use of the device by disabling outbound data and voice calls. The device will still be able to receive phone calls and place emergency calls to 9-1-1.

To lock the phone:

Press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose Menu.

Select Settings and Tools.

Select Phone Settings then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.

Select Security then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.

Select Phone Lock then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad.

Select the desired setting then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad.

Lock Now: This will lock the device immediately.

Automatic Lock: This locks the device when the phone is powered off.

Enter the Unlock Code (the default lock code is the last 4-digits of the mobile telephone number) then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad.

To unlock the phone:

When prompted to Enter unlock code, enter the 4-digit lock code then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
