Help?! I need all professional symptoms of childhood sexual abuse!?

RED FLAG ISSUE- its a real thing- NO JOKE.

I need to investigate my "gut feeling" about a child that may have been abused. CPS- is no help, for real. He was investigated and cleared with an older daughter. They won't even bring him in. What can I do? What are the symptoms?

Emotional, Physical- ONLY REAL things, no jokes. thanks.

    if you suspect abuse.... best thing is to refer them on to a psych doc... to have a full assessment....

    ive been there.... and hope that if this is the case... this child gets help NOW... and not years into the future.

    These are indications, NOT hard evidence:

    Sexual:

    * Inappropriate interest in or knowledge of sexual acts.

    * Seductiveness.

    * Avoidance of things related to sexuality, or rejection of

    own genitals or body.

    * Either overcompliance or excessive aggression.

    * Fear of a particular person or family member.

    Physical:

    * Burns, bite marks, cuts, bruises, or welts in the shape of an object.

    * Resistance to going home.

    * Fear of adults.

    They are usually shy around the other sex and avoid them.

    They usually really want to talk but are afraid for some reason.

    It took me six years to tell.

    Source(s): I am one of them.
