What are your favorite water plants?

Mine are cat tails.

They look neat, you can eat the small potato like bulbs that grow on the roots. I've heard that years ago when the tops would get dry and fluffy women used to put the fluffy stuff in babies diapers to keep rash away.

They remind me also of being outdoors. I grew up in the chequamagon forest in Wisconsin and You would see them in duck ponds everywhere.
