What is the Puerto Rican fruit named Corazon called in English?
There is a fruit in Puerto Rico called Corazon that grows on a tall tree.
Does anyone know what it is called in English or by some wild chance what the scientific name of the plant is?
I am trying to get more information about this fruit and am finding it impossible!

The spelling is correct. The translation is "Genips" the are easier to find in Puerto Rico during the summer. Try calling the department of tourism maybe they have more info, ask for "quenepas"

It is called the Magellan Barberry or, botanically speaking, Berberis.
