Do we receive points for a thumbs up given AFTER we're chosen for best answer?
I just received 2 points, and when I checked my activity box, it said it was for receiving 2 thumbs up for best answer, BUT, there was no 10 points awarded for BA.
If I clicked on 'view question' near the line telling me about my '1 point for thumbs up on BA', it would take me to a question that I received best answer to already yesterday.
Is this how it always worked? I always thought we only receive points for thumbs up BEFORE we were chosen for BA.
What I mean is: I thought we received points for the amount of thumbs up we have when chosen as BA, but not for any thumbs up received afterwards.

You still get a bonus point for every thumbs up that you receive AFTER you've already been chosen as "best answer." Happens to me all the time.

I believe that even after the question is over if someone see;s it they can give you thumbs up or down.The thumbs up are i point each.I see questions that are long over; and if i like the answers i always give everyone thumbs up,Good question too.
