How to protect the decals on a restored skateboard deck...?

I printed off a bunch of pictures using decal paper and applied them to a sanded-down skateboard deck I'm restoring. My last one was similar, but I just covered the new deck with skate-brand decals. Now that my new decals are placed, I want to use a protective "glaze" almost to make sure they stay on and don't get destroyed.

Any ideas?

you can buy slip tape at ccs.com

polyurethane doesnt work by the way it just is a waste

slip taape will work great and youll never have to buy another deck again

you can grind and stall with it without worrying aboout the decal

make shore tht it stuck on really really good no air bubles and dont know exacly what its call but some of my freinds have them which are like theas wax or plastic strips or bumpers kind of which are about a half a inch thick and they go around the bottom of the deck and they are used for when grinding, stalling ,ect but the protect th bottom of the deck from geting scratched also you can use a tail devil for the back of the board from geting razor tail but need to replace them about once every 4 or 5 weeks.

if you liked your zero a mystery will give you the same experience and they have better deck art. but if you want something different ill get a girl or a habitat or better yet alien workshop. i would keep away from element unless your a beginner cause they chip if you do anything hardcore i know it all to well. and you will also hear other people saying the same thing. in the end the board doesn't really matter it won't really affect how you skate.

Try putting on several coats of Polyurethane, Lacquer, or Clear Fingernail Polish over the top. Good Luck!

You could put a couple of layers of polyurethane over them. You can get it in spray form to make it easier.
