Update on Kevin Everett?

Not so much a question...but thought I'd pass this along

Dr. Peter Ostrow says he's learned injured Buffalo Bills Tight End Kevin Everett has voluntary movement of his arms and legs. This is a dramatic improvement over the prognosis given just yesterday at a Buffalo Bills news conference. Orthopedic surgeon Doctor Andrew Cappuccino said Monday that Everett suffered a "catastrophic" life-threatening spinal-cord injury in Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. He said Everett's chances of regaining a full range of body motion were not very likely. But tonight Dr.Ostrow reports Dr. Cappuccino is much more optimistic.

That is great news. I hope he is able to walk and not be paralyzed for the rest of his life. Football is a brutal sport and this is defintely an eye opener as it can happen to any team on the football field and not just to Everett. Hopefully it will be a quick and speedy recovery. He will never walk on the gridiron again, but just walking will be a great accomplishment after the life threatning spinal injury.

Remember to keep him and his family in your prayers as prayer is a powerful thing.

That's great news. Hopefully, he'll be able to walk again. I know he won't ever play again but can you imagine how crazy the fans in Bufallo would go if he was able to walk out on the field before the season is over? There won't be a dry eye in the house.

I know, I heard it not too long ago. I'm ecstatic for him, even though he might not play on a football field again, I really hope he'll be able to walk once more.

    Cheers!
