I would recommend waiting at least a week maybe 2 to let the perm settle in before using a flat iron. Once she can wash it she could blow dry it out straighter. Still it would be better to wait as long as possible.

jeez she sounds greatful... okay so no you must weight seven days to do anything (no ponytails, nothing) you weight 2-3 days to wash it but you prob. know that okay thats all.
