Convert tif files to jpeg files?

I have a folder full of tif files (about 200) and I want to convert them to jpegs. Can anyone tell me if and how I can do them all in one operation without doing each one individually.

Adobe (Macromedia) Fireworks can do a batch process on them. This allows you to convert them all at once easy as pie.

They have a free trial download here:

    http://macromedia-fireworks.en.softonic.com/

    Once installed, open Fireworks

    Go to file>batch process>

Click on the files you would like to convert. You can sellect them all at once by selecting the first pic, holding down the shift key and selecting the last pic (this works for selecting files in any program BTW)

    Click 'add'

    >next

select 'export' and choose 'JPEG-Better Quality'

Then you can choose the 'same location as the origional' or put them in a new folder somewhere else.

Click 'Batch' then leave it to do it's thing.

    Have fun

Try IRFANVIEW, its a free download, just put a search in for it.

It has a batch conversion option,

Which basicly means it will convert all the selected batch at the same time.

Its in the File/ BatchConversion option.

    Much easier.

Don't think its possible to do them all together. Copy them individually to paint (Start - Accessories - Paint) and save as jpeg.
