You need to purchase the port. They are not that expensive. Just open the computer case, discharge any static from your body by touching something metal, and insert the port (generally a PCI card) into a PCI slot after removing the metal strip covering the empty slot.

properly, you have 2 thoughts. If it incredibly is a house workstation, you are able to rather lots assure that it does not have a SCSI port except you further a SCSI controller card to the workstation; that being the 1st selection, you are able to verify the lower back of the device and seem in direction of the backside the place your PCI enjoying cards may be located. Your 2d selection may be to study the specs on that workstation (from the producer's website), the specs on the motherboard (from the producer's website), or to bodily open the case and seem interior to work out in case you have any. to not rigidity it too lots, however the guy who stated that the majority of homestead desktops have not got SCSI ports grew to become into incredible. in case you like a SCSI port for some thing particularly, you will maximum probable could seem for different thoughts regarding "favourite" IDE or SATA slots.
