Worst songs to hit the top 10 in the UK?

Can you remember any of the awful ones to hit the chart tops.

My 3 worst ones are:

1. Grandma we love you - St Winifrid's school choir

2. Shaddup you face - Joe Dolce

3. Hello John got a new motor - Alexis's Sayle.

Trouble is, now I have prompted myself, I cannot get number 3 out of my head.

"I keep tropical goldfish, in my underpants", and the imortal "Your goat's done a mess on the carpet"

Good god, I will have to put the radio on now - and get it out of my head.

Update:

Mr Blobby - totally agree - awful.

Crazy Frog - arrgh.

Anyone remember "The laughing Gnome" by David Bowie?

To me it appears that evidently such as you're caught interior the shallow end of the music pool. even however you will possibly no longer comprehend this, there fairly are many extra music scenes which you have for sure no longer explored, or you does no longer be asserting this. I understand I sound kinda propose. Anyhoo. in case you're taking the best 40 headphones off you may locate that there are various distinctive, ultimate genres accessible, that sound distinctive, and are of better high quality, in the two musicianship and lyricism (is that a notice?). yet I do believe you on the subject of the best 40 sh!t record. In Canada, the place I stay, we get a terrible combination of the U. S. staggering 20, and MuchMusic, with such crap as Shawn Desman, Danny Fernandes, and Alyssa Reid. Gag. Btw, this is totally okay to hearken to in spite of the hell you elect. There are bands accessible that are actually not properly regular because of the fact they're too distinctive, they have personalities, are not fashions, ect, ect. purely go searching and understand what share ultimate bands and artists there are accessible. :)

I agree with all of those.

Can't believe that Sh*te 'Shaddup you face' kept Ultravox Vienna at number 2! Crazy.

I would definitely add Birdie song, and that sickening snivelling pretentious noise that was Cliff Richard's 'Millennium Prayer'.
