Will Sky send me a 2nd Sky viewing card?

I already pay to have Sky in my main room but have now been given a second sky digi box by my friend who's updated to Sky+. I can use the 2nd box in my bedroom but it means transfering the viewing card back and forth. Will Sky send me another card if I just ask for one.

I could say mines damaged but then they may send me another but disable the first card and I'm back to square one !

You will have to phone Sky and let them know the situation. You could upgrade to multiroom and they will send you a viewing card (you will have to pay 2 upgrade) but you wont have a warranty on the 2nd box because they never installed it. No point trying to lie or switch cards etc. cos the card needs paired with the box. Oh and it only costs an extra tenner a month for the second subscription and you will get all the same channels as your main box. <3 xx

You'll have to have a Multiroom subscription. Phone them and tell them how it's set up and they'll probably just send a 2nd card and charge the £10 a month for Multiroom on top of your current subscription if your order it.

they will but you have to pay, and yes as soon as you tell them about any alleged damage they will cancel the card
