Subject: Be Honest!
With all your honor and dignity -what would you do? This test only has one question, but it's a very important one.
Please don't answer it without giving it some serious thinking...
By giving an honest answer you will be able to test where you stand morally on this issue.
The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation, where you will have to make a decision one way or the other.
Remember that your answer needs to be honest, but yet spontaneous.
You're in Louisiana... in New Orleans, to be exact...
There is chaos going on all around you, caused by a big hurricane and flooding...
There are huge masses of water all around you....
You are a CNN photographer...and you are in the middle of this great disaster.....
The situation is nearly hopeless.
You're trying to shoot very impressive photos...
There are houses and people floating around you, disappearing into the water...
Nature is showing all its destroying power... and is taking everything away with it...
Suddenly you see a man floating by on a log...
He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken away by the masses of water and mud...
You move closer...somehow the man looks familiar and, somehow, important...
Suddenly you know who it is - it's George W. Bush!
At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him away, forever...
You have two options:
You can save him or you can take the best photo of your life.
So you can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot a Pulitzer Prize winning photo...
A photo displaying the death of a very powerful man...
And here's the question: (Please give an honest answer)
Will you take the photo in black and white, or color??

I would take it in black and white. It has a better way of displaying the beauty of his death :)

The only honest answer I can give you is that I don't know what I would do until the situation faced me at the exact moment in time. I can say I would do a lot of things, but I really don't know if I could back it up till under pressure. Been there, done that in my lifetime.

My honest answer...I thought journalists (including photographers) were never allowed to get involved in the story they're covering......guess I'd end up taking a picture with whatever film was in the camera.

No matter what I feel about Bush or anyone else its still a human life. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't try to help him. Good question tho..

I couldn't save him because I'm not a strong swimmer. I wouldn't want anyone to die on my watch so I would take a quick picture and turn my head so it wouldn't be on my watch .....Lmao great one....star for ya hun

I've seen this email over and over... with countless other names in place of your version for Bush. Actually just got one with Hillary Clinton as the "person you take a picture of" a couple weeks ago.... Liked that one better personally. Still not that funny the 50th time around though.

I would save him and if my camera was still working take his picture afterwards, then make him promise to pull our boys out of Iraq, if I saved his life, he should save theirs!! Color!!!
