A Nice name for my Girl Puppy ?
I got a rescue dog today. she has no name and I am open to suggestions. She is about a year old and is a Cavalier King Charles, Blenheim colour.
Thank you so far. some great names suggested. I would like to add that she only has one eye. didn't say earlier in case I got a few prank answers. Keep them coming.
Thanx to all. I called her Tia.

Nope. Jug = container for liquid. What your friend has is more money than sense if she allowed herself to get scammed into paying good money to a backyard breeder or puppy miller. As for the name - something with one or two syllables is best. Something that doesn't sound like another command (eg sit, down etc). Apart from that, just pick a name and stick with it. Doesn't matter to the dogs what they are called. In the meantime, look up some puppy training classes. A good idea anyway - but even more so given that 2 have been taken on at once. Make sure that they're neutered too. They won't care that they're brother & sister once the hormones kick in. ********** ADD: Just so you understand - there's nothing wrong with mixed breed pups per se. However, the breeder has just crossed a very lively, tenacious breed, with one that has breathing difficulties (the dog is likely to have an uncomfortable existence, not guaranteed - but very likely) - then given them a silly name in order to scam money out of gullible people. They've then placed them at the WORST time of year for a pup to settle into a new home, and placed 2 pups at the same time into an inexperienced home - making it more difficult to train them. I'm struggling to think how this breeder could have been much worse. This person's friend has just paid them money to do it, so they'll probably breed even more unhealthy mutts, when there's plenty of other - wonderful dogs dying in shelters. THAT'S the problem!!

Since the Blenheim Palace was the ancestral home of the Duke of Blenheim and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, you could call her Duchess or Lady Churchill.
