I am so scared! What is going on?!?

Okay, another question from me, but there are so many things ask! Lol, but anyways my period started two months ago for the first time. Yes, I'm 12, but it didn't start for the month last month and it hasn't started this month! What is going on? I know I didn't hit menapause! And I know I'm not pregnate, because I'm 12 and I have never had sex even though there are skanks in my school who already lost their verginity and they are 12! But, what is going on!? I'm scared!

LOL @ not hitting menopause...bless your heart!

Relax. Since you have only just begun having your periods, it can take up to a year or more before they become regulated. Focus on any symptoms you may have and carry protection with you at all times to prevent an accident.

Girl, don't be scared. I'm 22 and my period is STILL messed up like that. I got mine when I was 11, and I would have it for a couple months straight, then not get it for a few months, and then it would come back for a while, etc. And that happens to A LOT of girls when their periods first start. It usually takes a couple years for it to come regularly. I doubt your period will continue to be as messed up as mine, but like I said, it's very normal to be so abnormal right now. My recommendation would be to firstly, tell your Mom and be sure you can discuss these kinds of things with her or some adult figure in your life. If it continues to be irregular for a long time, go to the doctor and they can help you. Good luck, and don't worry! It's annoying but nothing to be scared of.

First, dont be scared. It may just take some time for your cycle to regulate itself since it just started. It will become regular over time. If you're in pain or really worried, talk with your mom and have her make you an appointment.

Good Luck, hope it helps. God Bless!

  • you are perfectly fine. Don't worry about it. because u just started ur period, ur body is getting used to the changes and may skip a couple of months. I commend you on keeping ur virginity and I think u should do so when you get married. Be safe baby girl

hahah honestly if those girls at ur school are saying they lost there virginity then there so lying!!! there not telling the truth because if they had sex with a 12 year old boy, its technically not right cuz there not developed by then.also dont worry about ur period cuz its normal like that when ur young. it happens

nothing, you're fine. in the beginning, things are very irregular. When i first got mine, i went for 4 months without getting it again! it could come a week late, or not until next month!! there's nothing to worry about!

don't worry...your fine it happens around your age because your body id still developing. its going to take a while before your hormones get stable.....it happens. you can be 1 of the many who can get a period 1 month and not get for a couple of months...its natural. don't worry and eat healthy and stay active...don't be scared because stress can also delay your period...GOD LUCK..AND TRY TO ENJOY THE MONTHS YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR PERIOD.!!!
