Failed in Life - ANy way to rebound? U pulled your ? pls read?

Your story hit a nerve with me. My son has a very similar story.

Try looking at your situation for the root cause. The anxiety/depression/insomnia is taking over your life. Start here. Because this is the only way you will break the cycle. You have already identified the problem - now you need help. You can't do this all on your own. Contact your local mental health agency or NAMI ( National Alliance for Mentally Ill) in your area. The symptoms you describe are signs of amental condition. There is no stigma attached to this.

Mental illness is just that - an illness to be treated and overcome. NAMI can help with advice. Get to a free clinic. Are you close to a university that may offer sliding scale clinics? You need to deal with the underlying cause to be able to succeed - and you will succeed. Surround yourself with positive thoughts. Insomnia and depression are a powerful combination. They can rob you of the ability to think clearly - it's tough when you are always tired and down. The quest to get help, may not be easy - but it is essential. Keep asking for help!!

In the meantime, you need to keep trying to take care of yourself. Get down to your local state employment office. Be honest, explain your situation. You still need to eat and take care of yourself.

I am sorry you have no family to count on. My son is in a similar situation and I will always be there for him, even though he is many miles away.

I can tell by reading you are a highly intelligent person. You can do this! You are worth it! DO not get discouraged, for it only leads to more failure. Reward yourself for the positive things, no matter how small. This may take time, but you can do it! Please, please seek help. I know it may be difficult, but the insomnia and depression have to be dealt with. They are a powerful combination and will suck you down everytime.

I wish you all the best. Be well and good luck!! You do have a future and it is better. You can find it with a little help. You do have people pulling for you - I am one.

Update:

Hopefully you will read this - you pulled your question after a few short minutes. Some people made unkind replies - ignore them. I really hope you will see this. I do care.

It is reality. Aquino won the election and whether a person voted for him or not, he should get the support he needs. Frankly, I don't see any problem Aquino being the president. Let's pray that he'll do a good job and be a great leader of this country.
