Can Jason Giambi catch anything other than a needle in his butt?

    Giambi has been making some pretty great plays BEFORE today.

    Fine give me the thumbs down. But if you watch the Yankee games on a daily basis you would figure out that Giambi is actually a decent fielder.

    He was able to catch a glimpse of all those sad little sox fans after the Yanks walked off the field with a 8-7 win!!

    Giambi was never a great fielder. In a tight game, Joe Torre will sub him for someone else. He's strictly a hitter and sometimes he'll pull out a gem on first.

    i dont think so, he can hit for power but that could have been some of the worst plays at first last night that i have ever seen. but he still hit a homerun that started a rally and they ended up winning the game so he did what they payed him to do
