Those medals are irreplaceable, you know that. You're not going to die, and can live with a friend for a moment. If you get rid of them, you'll regret that decision for the rest of your life. Get real for a moment, are you really that broke, because I saw someone and their baby sleeping on the sidewalk last night with no food or water.

Think about this, selling personal items is quick money, and money isn't that important in this life.

Go on Craigslist and offer to rent a fixer upper for reduced rent under the BARTER section...If you are handy you might get free rent in exchange for repairs. In this market there are plenty of sellers who'd rather get something in rent while waiting for the market to get off life support.

Try not to sell the medals if you can - :)

My father's medals were lost in a fire and can't be recreated... I do anything to have them.

Source(s): Craigslist.com. I know this works because I am in the process of working out a similar deal. Good luck. If you have *any*thing else of value you can sell on Ebay that's a great way to make quick $.

Oh my gosh - don't sell them!!!

Just get a job or two!

You need to give those medals to an older, more established family member so they don't end up getting sold for a month's rent. They are much to valuable to let them out of your family.

I have lived in my car before. Technically being homeless is illegal in america because when the police see you sleeping in your car they will accost you and force you to move on. Really, all you need is a place where it's not noticeable to park.
