Firefox tabs?

I recently got version 2.0.0.6 of firefox.

In the older version, when I opened many tabs, they would all be in the browser window. You could open like 20 tabs and you could click on any of them at the top of the screen. They would just be very small and squashed together.

But now in the new version, the browser does not squash all the tabs into the window. It only displays the first 9 tabs and you have to navigate to the rest.

Does anyone know how I can get the new version of Firefox to display all the tabs like the old version did?

DO NOT download and install an older version of Firefox, the newer versions contain important security updates.

To change tab behavior in Firefox 2.0.0.6:

    1. Open a new firefox tab.

    2. Type “about:config” into the address bar

    3. Type “tab” into the filter field.

    4. Change the settings of both “browsers.tab.tabClipWidth” and “browsers.tab.tabMinWidth” to 5

    5. Restart Firefox.

I'm not sure if there is a particular setting/configuration that will do that but there are several add-ons that will allow you to customize the tabs.

    One that I use is

    FaviconizeTab

There are tons more that may offer what you are looking for
