I have an xbox360 around late October 2006. From MS. But wondering if those models are better then the 05 ones
this is my third, xbox360.... And got it back from MS. They gave me a new one. But the model is october 2006. So are those models ok? Cuz i heard the models from 2005 is mess up......

I think it might be a small improvement, but I know that the ones with the new chipsets, the Falcons, are coming soon.
With your new one, make sure it's horizontal, and in a well ventilated area.. If you live somewhere hot, try to find a way to cool it.
I know you've probably heard those things before, but it's always good to keep them in mind.
Where I live, it never gets too hot or stuffy, so I'm not worried at all about mine breaking (got it June 2006, no problems) but I think you have to be careful if you live in a hot area.

so far late 2006 models are supposed to have a cooling function the the elites have as well but they are still known for the 3 red lights, if it happens again just curse under your breath and call them again and say its time for your fourth :/
